Meet YOUR Village Council members!
Village Council is the legislative branch of our Village government.
There are six council members. Each is elected at large and serve four-year staggered terms.
Two council members are elected by the voters the same year as the mayor. Four council members are elected two years after a mayoral election.
Meetings – Village Council meetings are scheduled on the first and third Wednesday of each month and are held in person, in Village Council Chambers, at Albany Village Hall, 5153 Alton Street, Albany, Ohio 45710 at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Special Meetings – Council will, from time to time, meet for a Special Meeting. Such meetings will be announced to the news media, posted at Village Hall, and/or posted online at least 24 hours in advance.
Other Meetings – Meetings of other Village boards, committees, and review councils will meet from time to time. Such meetings will be announced to the news media, posted at Village Hall, and/or posted online at least 24 hours in advance.
