Congratulations…You live in a solar-friendly community!
Albany is proud to support clean, green power! Albany has been awarded the SolSmart Silver designation in recognition of all the hard work and leadership our community has shown to reduce costs and encourage energy options at the local level.

As you begin, get quotes from multiple installers. Those quotes should contain a roof assessment and an estimate of how much solar power you can expect to generate with a certain number of solar panels installed. The installer should share what type of panels, racks, and inverters will be used. As a consumer, you have many rights when it comes to purchasing a solar array. As a solar customer it is important to know your rights .
