Because the Village has changed utility billing software providers, you must re-register your online account with PayStar. Once you sign up for the Village of Albany Customer Utility Portal, you can view, print, and pay bills online. You can also review your billing, payment, and usage history.

Just follow these simple steps on the Registration Page; (that link can be found below)

• To get started; Select “Create a New Account,” enter your information, and choose whether to enroll in Autopay.
• Information You Will Need; Before registering, have the following information ready:
  • Your Account Number and CID. (Your CID will appear on your next utility bill)
  • A valid email address
  • A password
• Registration Confirmation; A Registration Confirmation window will appear. No action is needed on this screen.
• Verify Your Email; The verification email is active for 4 hours. To complete enrollment, open the email and click the verification link within that time.
• Complete Account Verification; After clicking the verification link, you will be redirected to the Account Verification screen. Select the green “Click to Verify” button to finish verifying your account.
• Login to Your Account; You should now see a message confirming verification was successful. Now you can re-enter your email and password and select Login to access your Customer Portal Account.
